Sharp text on every screen. The game was drawing at one pixel per screen pixel and letting the browser stretch it, so on a Retina, 4K or scaled-up Windows display everything came out soft, text most of all. It now draws at your display's real density, and bold text is real bold instead of a smeared regular.
TEXT SIZE in Settings: NORMAL or LARGE. Cards keep their size, so LARGE trims flavour lines to an ellipsis.
FONT in Settings: the game's Exo 2, Atkinson Hyperlegible (drawn for low-vision readers), Rajdhani (the condensed techno face, for fun), or your system's own UI font.
The tutorial says the three things that actually win. Real playtest data said new players were passing job after job and still finishing on nothing, because the game never made it clear that TIER 1 pays the rent and not the score. Every callout is rewritten shorter and plainer, and three new ones speak up when you need them: when you are sitting on INTEL and have never called in a job, when you have TIER 2 handled but have not touched TIER 3, and when most of your crew is parked on ASSETS.
A crew below MIN gets a warning before the dice, not after. Sending runners at a job they do not qualify for can never PASS and usually kills somebody. The warning used to arrive next to the body. Now COMMIT asks you to confirm the first time you try it, and the card tells you what is about to happen.
THE OPS DECK has its own page in HOW TO PLAY. It was a footnote under Assets, which is a strange place for the thing that buys you every job above TIER 1. The help screen now says plainly where each tier comes from: the street deals TIER 1 and TIER 2, LEGWORK and THE BROKER sell TIER 2 and TIER 3, and TIER 4 only ever comes from THE FIXER.
THE FIXER got cheaper and clearer. Three TIER 3 leads for 1 INTEL and three TIER 4s for 5, and she now deals you a choice of leads that hold their place on the board instead of dropping one job on you.
Fixes. Upgrade durations read ONCE PER TURN so the whole label is legible, and the words naming things you can buy (LEGWORK, THE BROKER, THE FIXER, REROLL, COMMIT) now carry their colours everywhere they appear.
