Full-Metal Tapped · patch notes
v0.8.14
12 Sep 2026
Mostly an under-the-hood release. Faster loading, a rebuilt Run History that no longer deletes your old runs, and a small tuning pass on the world row.
Loading
- The game reaches the menu in about 6 seconds instead of 20: it used to download every mission and event card, the full portrait sheet and all the board sound effects before drawing anything. It loads the menu first now and the rest behind it
- There's a loading bar: styled after the Heat bar, tracking real progress

Run History
- Your archive holds 500 runs instead of 10: the old cap didn't hide run 11, it deleted it and took the replay with it. Lifetime totals were never affected
- Pin a run to keep it: a pinned run is exempt from the cap and holds its replay. Pin from the list, or KEEP from the run's own report
- Filter and sort the list: ALL, VICTORY, DEFEAT and SURRENDERED, a KEPT filter, and NEWEST, OLDEST or BEST ordering. BEST is most VP, then fewest turns
- The LIFETIME panel is bounded: career totals at the top, the per-outfit breakdown underneath in two columns, most played first. It used to add a row for every outfit and Lot building you'd played

The world row
- Pulled jobs hold their place for 2 turns instead of 3: Legwork, The Broker and Fixer's Tip now match Fixer's Big Job
- Unworked missions clear off the row about twice as fast
- The row deals slightly fewer missions and more events
On the board
- Events pulse on their last turn, coloured by what ignoring them does: red if a threat is about to land, cyan if the card is simply leaving, green if it pays out whether you touch it or not
- The row scrolls while you drag: hold a card near the edge and the row travels under it. Cards still land exactly where you drop them
- A card you pick up leaves a marker behind instead of a copy of itself
Other miscellaneous changes
- New logo, app icon and favicons
- The Reefpirate Games mark sits in the menu's footer and links to the studio site
- A menu button no longer stays lit after the mouse leaves it
- CONTINUE only appears on the menu when there is a run to continue: a fresh install opens on NEW GAME
- The green tag chip on an Asset lights up when you have that runner on the shift: it was paying the bonus but leaving the chip dim
- The Almanac and Run History build only the cards on screen: filtering and scrolling no longer hitch
- Your lifetime breakdown shows from your first outfit instead of your second

Under the hood
- Boot timings are measured against a throttled connection now: the old tool wasn't counting the three largest downloads in the game
- The telemetry reader tracks returning players, not just wins: about a fifth of players come back on a later day
- The balance readout prints each lane's margin of error beside its win rate and only flags a miss the sample can actually support
